It’s been a weird fall up here in Northern Michigan! The weather has been all over the place and warmer than normal. The temperature actually hit 72 today, which isn’t our usual, for sure!
However, the leaves are still changing despite the weirdness and I know the snow is coming eventually. It’s inevitable here! With all the changes and Thanksgiving quickly approaching, I’ve caught myself reflecting a lot lately.
One thing that has stood out is you — this amazing community of friends I’ve made through my blog, from my TPT shop, in my Facebook group, and over on social media. Your encouragement, kind words, and sweet enthusiasm have meant so much to me! When I shared our Christmas School calendar last year, I NEVER thought it would turn into what it did. It’s been a LOT of work (that sometimes I had to step back from to catch my breath 😅), but I’ve loved putting together these monthly themes!
And I truly believe that I couldn’t have done this much if it weren’t for you all! So I wanted to do something special this month for you guys!
This month, I created a 30 Days of Gratitude Calendar for November as a free download for you to share with your family (or classroom). It’s a simple way for kids to reflect on what they’re thankful for throughout the month.
There are daily gratitude prompts and some journaling sheets included (if you need them). Your kids can write down their answers and/or thoughts for each day on each line. Each prompt encourages children to reflect on small or big things they’re thankful for—things like a favorite food, a kind friend, or a happy memory. It’s meant to be simple, but hopefully meaningful!
To go along with the calendar, I also included printable journaling sheets where children can record their answers. These journal sheets are available in two versions:
- Handwriting lines for younger children who are still working on their penmanship.
- Regular lines for older students who don’t need the extra help.
Each journal page has 10 lines, so to complete the entire month, each child will need three sheets stapled together!
If you have little ones, you could also just discuss the question with them instead of having them write it down.
To download these, just scroll to the bottom of this post and drop your email in! Feel free to print them out and share them with your family, students, or homeschool co-op!
PS: Exciting Things for November!
Along with the 30 Days of Gratitude Calendar, I have a few other fun surprises planned for November! Keep an eye out for a few activity packs that I’ll be releasing throughout the month! I don’t want to give too much away, but you’ll have the option to do a few other things this month along with the gratitude calendar!
And that’s not all — I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be releasing two Christmas School Bundles this year!
- Christmas School Bundle from Last Year’s Activities
Last year, many of you enjoyed my individual Christmas-themed activities! However, I couldn’t offer them as a bundle. I was literally making activities the day before they were posted sometimes! It was a little crazy (I’m so glad I won’t be doing that this year!) 😅 This Christmas, I’m putting all of those activities together into one bundle with all the extra goodies and some updates! If you missed out on any of the activities last year — or only got to try a few — this bundle will give you the chance to enjoy them all in one go! - Christmas School Bundle Focused on the Birth of Jesus
The second bundle I’ll be releasing is extra special — this one will focus solely on the birth of Jesus. I know some families couldn’t participate last year with Christmas School because their family doesn’t do Santa, the elf, etc. It’s been on my heart to provide an option that only celebrates the Nativity Story and to create fun activities that help kids reflect on the significance of Jesus’ birth!
Both bundles will be available soon, and I can’t wait to share them with you! Be sure to follow along on my blog or social media so you don’t miss when I release them!
Thank You for Your Support!
I truly feel so grateful for all the friendships, support, and encouragement I have received from this community. Whether you have been following along since the beginning or just recently joined, your presence means the world to me!
I hope this calendar for November sparks some good conversations and encourages your little ones to appreciate the simple things around them! Feel free to share it with friends, teachers, or anyone else who might find it helpful!
