I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We were counting down to the holiday and these Thanksgiving crafts made the time fly by! During the past few weeks, we’ve enjoyed a simple turkey sponge painting, fun thankful turkey paper hats, awesome pumpkin volcano explosions, and now this Silly Turkey Thanksgiving Craft! I have to say that this activity brought the most laughter. My kids (and myself, who am I kidding) were cracking up with all the different faces and expressions that we were able to create.
If you download this PDF, there are two options when printing it out…you can choose between a colored version OR a black & white version. It just really depends on how much your kids want to color and customize. 🙂
How To Make Silly Turkeys
This printable is super easy and low-prep. Just print out whatever pages you would like from this PDF and start cutting out the pieces! You’ll also need some glue (we love these glue sticks here). If you print out the black and white version, make sure to grab some crayons or markers!
If you are using the black and white version, start off with coloring the printable! It will be much easier to get this done before cutting everything and putting it together.
I hope you and your kiddos have a lot of laughs with this silly turkey Thanksgiving craft! Please feel free to drop a photo and/or comment below of your silly turkey. I’d love to see how they turned out!
PS: Want another project? If you have some little ones who would enjoy an easy painting project, make sure to grab this FREE turkey template below! It’s great for dot, Q-tip, or sponge painting techniques 🙂 You can find it over at this blog post here. Happy Thanksgiving!!
