We just wrapped up Winter School over here and it was SO fun! THANK YOU all for joining us and making January such a great time! 💙

If you didn’t hear yet, I have decided to put together something for Valentines! I think I’m more excited for this theme than even Christmas or Winter School!! Creating something special and fun for my kids that is focused on social-emotional learning is something I’ve always wanted to do…and February seems like the PERFECT time to focus on this!

When is Valentine School?

This 14-day special event will run from February 12th-February 29th, 2024.

What is Valentine School?

It’s a simple way to add some FUN & intentional quality time into your homeschool days! I put together a calendar for February that has 14 daily themes based on 1st Corinthians 13. The day before each special day, I’ll drop a blog post right here that will be full of printables (they will be FREE to download individually on my TPT shop but for that day only), activity ideas, themed snacks, and more. You will also have the option to purchase a bundle and access everything all at once (instead of waiting on each blog post and downloading everything individually).

What is the purpose of Valentine School?

The main goal of these monthly themes is to help your kids get excited for their school days and to inspire a love for learning! It’s also a great way to spend some intentional time together. Specifically, Valentine School is focused on social-emotional learning and is designed to be a fun way to learn about how we can best love others, as well as practice healthy self-love.❤️

What does each day look like?

Each day for Valentine School includes a science experiment, art/craft activities, coloring page, suggested book list, and themed snack idea. If you purchase the bundle, you’ll also receive daily activity guides that include discussion questions to start off with too! Plus some other bonus items too 🥰

What ages is this for?

This is designed for ages 3-10, but I know that there are many older kids who have joined in too! If your older child likes science experiments, arts, and crafts – they will most likely enjoy this!

How much time does this take?

That is 100% up to you! You can do every activity or just pick and choose! I try to include a variety of activities for you and your kids to choose from. We usually spend 30 minutes to an hour doing these activities at our house.

I’m not religious; can I still do this?

YES! I did base the order of the days on 1st Corinthians 13:4-8 (“Love is patient, love is kind, etc”). However, I do not dive into it more than that.

Is this a Bible Study?

No, it is not. I did base the order of the days on 1st Corinthians 13, but this is not designed to be a Bible Study. It is meant to be a fun way to learn about how we can best love others, as well as practice healthy self-love. You definitely could take advantage of the daily structure though and add in Bible time on your own. Personally, I plan to have my kids memorize 1st Corinthians 13:4-8 as we go along.

Is it free?

There will be a free option again for those who need it (I never want someone to be unable to do this with their kids just because of money!). I’ll drop a blog post for each special day on the calendar (usually the day beforehand) and make those activity printables free for that day only.

Can I download everything all at once, instead of waiting?

YES! If you would like to download EVERYTHING all at once, there will be a BUNDLE option again that you can purchase for $17! This bundle will also include extra bonus printables to help get you organized and prepared to create an awesome experience for your family! I hope to release this bundle soon!

Is there a virtual group for this?

Yes! You can join our FB group here! Doing this together as a group makes it so much more fun! I will always post the blog post links in this group too, to make it easier for you to access the daily blog posts.

How do I get started?

Drop your email address below to download/print out the calendar and then join my FB group here! After you print it out, I suggest hanging it up somewhere your kids can see it. Seeing the calendar makes my kids excited to get school done, because they know we’ll do a fun activity together when they are finished with regular schoolwork!
