#1. Handprint Baby Horse Craft
Grab some construction paper, this printable, scissors, and glue to make this cute handprint horse! This makes for a cute school keepsake too. ❤️
#2. Baby Horse Silhouette Art Project
Encourage your kids to paint a background scene and, once it is dry, cut out and glue on the horse from this PDF!
#3. Watch This to Learn More About Baby Miniature Horses!
If your kids are visual learners or if your family likes to include some learning videos, here is one for today from The Good and the Beautiful! There are also some extra options at the bottom of this blog post. 😊
#3. Fill Out Baby Horse Notebook Page (BONUS)

(Note: Everyone has different book standards! I highly suggest skimming through any books before reading them to your kids, just to make sure it aligns with your family values first) 🩷
Today we’ll be reading, “If I Was a Horse” by Sophie Blackall, “The Wild Little Horse” by Rita Grey, and “Horses” by Margo Lundell.
However, if you were unable to grab these books from the library or store, here are the read aloud options on YouTube!
PS: If you have an older child, I recommend having them read 1-2 chapters from, “Charlotte’s Web” today!
Do You Have Extra Time? Here Are Some Ideas/Videos!

#2. Go on a virtual field trip and meet a horse trainer!
#3. Do your older kids want to watch a horse being born? This 24-minute video shows EVERYTHING (so be forewarned), but the foal is so cute and it’s fun to see how fast he tries to get up and start walking right away!
