It’s the last day of the month AND the final day of Spring School! I thought it would be fun to wrap up this theme with a farm day!
Did you miss the activities for this month? No worries! You can join our FB group and get a heads-up for the next one!
Keep reading below for Farm Day activities and printables!
Day #17. Farm Day!
Here is what we have planned for today! 🙂 Did you want to download and print out everything for this month all at once? You now can! Grab the Spring School Activity Pack here!
This 81-page PDF bundle comes with every printable you’ll need for this month PLUS extra printables (Baby Animals Notebook for Kids, Baby Animal Fact Cards, & Spring Vocabulary Cards). It is great for saving time by downloading and printing everything all at once! You’ll also receive a Spring School bookmark and punch card for your kids to use as they move through each themed day. 🥰
Activity Ideas
IMPORTANT NOTE: Most of these printable activities will be FREE for you to download, but only during Farm Day! So, make sure to download them even if you are going to do Farm Day later in the week – that way you can still snag them for free. If you could leave a review behind afterwards, that would be amazing too! THANK YOU!! 🥰❤️
#1. Use Blocks or Legos to Build a Farm!
Do your kids like to build? Challenge them to design and create their very own farm with Legos or blocks!
#2. Barn Painting Art Project
Choose a barn to paint from this PDF. If your kids would like a challenge, they could use their fingerprints and a paintbrush to create tiny little farm animals.
#3. Go On/Plan a Field Trip to a Local Farm!
This would be a great day to set up a field trip to a local farm! If you are unable to set this up, there IS a virtual field trip video below.
#4. Read & Hang Up Farm Day Fact Card (BONUS)
Did you grab the Spring School bundle or the Baby Animal Fact Cards? You can read the fact card for today and hang up on the wall or display board!
Books
(Note: Everyone has different book standards! I highly suggest skimming through any books before reading them to your kids, just to make sure it aligns with your family values first) 🩷
Today we’ll be reading, “Big Red Barn” by Margaret Wise Brown and “Farm Animals” by Joanne Mattern.
However, if you were unable to grab these books from the library or store, here are the read aloud options on YouTube!
PS: If you have an older child, I recommend having them read 1-2 chapters from, “Charlotte’s Web” today!
Do You Have Extra Time? Here Are Some Ideas/Videos!
