Day #3. All About My Family Day!
Here is some of what we are planning to do today! 🙂 Did you want to download and print out everything for this month? You now can! Grab the Me & My World Activity Bundle here!
This 98-page PDF bundle comes with every printable you’ll need for this month PLUS extra printables like a master supply list, suggested reading list, themed snack photos, grocery list, and a teacher guide for each day! It is great for saving time by downloading and printing everything all at once! You’ll also receive a Me & My World bookmark and punch card for your kids to use as they move through each themed day. 🥰
Activities
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the past, I’ve offered most items for free for 24 hours, on each themed day. I will still be giving away some freebies here and there, but most printables will stay exclusive for those who purchase the monthly bundle.
Why this change? There have been some concerns with a few individuals taking advantage of everything in my store being free at one point. For that reason, I need to make a change and protect my shop and whichever activities I did spend a lot of my time on creating. Thank you for understanding and for helping support me as I put time into making these themes! If you are unable to purchase the monthly bundle, I would definitely still love to have you tag along and use the snack ideas, YouTube educational video links, and read aloud book links! And as I mentioned above, there will still be occasional freebies too! ❤️

Snack
Using small pretzel sticks and cheese, make a stick family that resembles your own
Books
(Note: Some of the books this month are new to me, so be sure to skim it beforehand if you want to make sure it’s something your family values align with).
Today’s books are: “Me and My Family Tree” and “Pete the Cat’s Family Road Trip”.
If you couldn’t grab these books from the library or store, here are some read-aloud options on YouTube!
Do You Have More Time? Here Are Some Extra Ideas!
#1. Family Interview Project
Give students a list of fun interview questions to ask a family member (e.g., “What was your favorite toy as a child?” or “What is a family tradition you love?”). They can then share interesting facts or stories they learned via a presentation or create a small “Family Interview Booklet.”
#2. My Family Memory Jar
Get your student a small jar or cup to decorate. Inside, they place slips of paper with drawings or short notes about their favorite family memories. This will make a great keepsake!
#3. Create a Family Flag or Crest
Want something creative for your older students? Ask them to design a family flag or crest that represents their family’s values, traditions, or interests! They can use symbols, colors, and pictures to represent each family member or something unique about their family.
I hope your students enjoyed today! If you need to print out the Me & My World Calendar still, go ahead and drop your email below so that I can send it right over!
PS: Come back tomorrow for the “All About My Home” blog post! 🙂
