#1. Make Some Butter for Science Today!
Have your kids ever made butter? Use this PDF to turn this activity into a science experiment for today!
#2. Silly Cow Watercolor Art Project
Print out this PDF on cardstock and encourage your kids to trace the lines with a black crayon before painting the cow with watercolors. They can also paint the background OR, after it is dry, they can also cut out the cow and glue it onto a piece of construction paper.
#3. Watch This to Learn More About Baby Cows!
If your kids are visual learners or if your family likes to include some learning videos, here is one for today from The Good and the Beautiful! There are also some extra options at the bottom of this blog post. 😊
#3. Fill Out Baby Cow Notebook Page (BONUS)

Today we’ll be reading, “The Cow that Quacked” by Rebecca Rex and “The Cow Who Climbed a Tree” by Gemma Merino.
However, if you were unable to grab these books from the library or store, here are the read aloud options on YouTube!
PS: If you have an older child, I recommend having them read 1-2 chapters from, “Charlotte’s Web” today!
