Keep reading below for Bee Day activities and printables!
Day #11. Bee Day!
Here is what we have planned for today! 🙂 Did you want to download and print out everything for this month all at once? You now can! Grab the Garden School Activity Pack here!
This 78-page PDF bundle comes with every printable you’ll need for this month PLUS extra printables like vocabulary cards, grocery list, master supply list, suggested reading list, and a teacher guide for each day! It is great for saving time by downloading and printing everything all at once! You’ll also receive a May School bookmark and punch card for your kids to use as they move through each themed day. 🥰
Activity Ideas
IMPORTANT NOTE: Most of these printable activities will be FREE for you to download, but only during Bee Day! So, make sure to download them even if you are going to do Bee Day later in the week – that way you can still snag them for free. If you could leave a review behind afterwards, that would be amazing too! THANK YOU!! 🥰❤️

Learn how important bees are for some of the food that we like to eat!
#2. All About Bees for Kids!
Here is a longer 11-minute video for your kids to learn more about the bee itself.
#3. How Do Bees Make Honey?
Have your kids wondered how bees make honey? Here is a great video from Mystery Science to answer this!
#4. Label a Bee Worksheet
Print out this PDF here and have your student read and label each part of the bee. There is an answer key included in this PDF, in case you need it!
#5. Watercolor Bee Art Project
Print this PDF out on cardstock and have your student trace the lines with a black crayon. Once they are done, they can paint the inside with watercolor paint. Let it dry before cutting it out and hanging it up!
#6. Bee Vocabulary Card
Did you purchase the Garden School Bundle? Cut out and hang up the Bee Vocabulary Card that is included inside the pack! If you’d like to purchase just the vocabulary cards, you can grab the pack here!
#7. Themed Snack Idea
While you read (or listen to) the book below, eat this bee-themed snack idea with your kids!
To create this bee snack, you’ll need blueberries, puff cereal (or something that looks similar), apple slices, small pretzel sticks, and a round cracker.
#8. Read or Listen to a Book!
(Note: Everyone has different book standards! I highly suggest skimming through any books before reading them to your kids, just to make sure it aligns with your family values first) 🩷
While you enjoy snack time, wrap things up with a book! You’re welcome to read any of the suggested books in the Garden School bundle, but at our house today we’ll be reading, ”The Honeybee” by Kristen Hall.
If you were unable to grab the book from the library or store, here is the read aloud option on YouTube!
Do you have older kids? I suggest having them read 1-2 chapters from, “The Secret Garden”!
I hope that you and your family had a wonderful time learning together today! If you need to print out the May Calendar still, drop your email below and I’ll send it right over!
