Day #8. Corn Day!

Activities
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the past, I’ve offered most items for free for 24 hours, on each themed day. I will still be giving away some freebies here and there, but most printables will stay exclusive for those who purchase the monthly bundle. There have been some concerns with a few individuals taking advantage of everything in my store being free at one point and downloading printables while they are free only to turn around and sell for their own profit.
For that reason, I need to make a change and protect my shop and whichever activities I did spend a lot of my time on creating. Thank you for understanding and for helping support me as I put time into making these themes! If you are unable to purchase the monthly bundle, I would definitely still love to have you tag along and use the snack ideas, YouTube educational video links, and read aloud book links! And as I mentioned above, there will still be occasional freebies too! ❤️
#1. Dancing Corn Kernel Science Experiment
Choose and print your worksheet! Using baking soda, vinegar, water, a glass, and corn kernels, create some dancing corn kernels!
#2. Corn Life Cycle Worksheet
Choose and print out your worksheet. Have your student either write or cut out and glue a word from the word box underneath each photo!
#3. Fingerprint Rainbow Corn on the Cob Art Project
Print out this template on cardstock. Using their fingerprints, students can paint in their corn. While it dries, they can paint the stalk leaves. When finished, glue them together.
Snack
Have popcorn as the snack for today!
Books
(Note: Some of the books this month are new to me, so be sure to skim it beforehand if you want to make sure it’s something your family values align with).
Today we’ll be reading: From Kernel to Corn, Bob & Rob & Corn On The Cob, and The Story of Corn.
