Day #6. Easter Egg Day!
Here is some of what we have planned for today! 🙂 Did you want to download and print out everything for this week all at once? You can! Grab the Easter Bunny Day Activity Pack here!
PS: If you grab BOTH the St. Patrick and Easter Bunny Activity Packs, you will receive my Holy Week Activity Pack for FREE! Just send me a screenshot of your orders over on FB messenger or at contact@printandhomeschool.com. As soon as the Holy Week Activity Pack is released, I’ll send you a special code to download it for free! These packs come with extra printables (like the mini Easter egg playdoh mats below) and are great for saving time by downloading and printing everything all at once…plus everything will be organized, especially if you’d like to use any of this again for next year! 🩷
Activities
IMPORTANT NOTE: These printable activities will be FREE for you to download, but only during Easter Egg Day! So, make sure to download them even if you are going to do Easter Egg Day later in the week – that way you can still snag them for free. If you could leave a review behind afterwards, that would be amazing too! THANK YOU!! 🥰❤️
#1. Easter Egg Resist Art
Students can use these egg templates two different ways. They can either do a tape resist or crayon resist technique with watercolor paint!
#2. Spin-A-Color Easter Egg Coloring Activity
Students can pick one of these five coloring pages, a pencil, and a paper clip for this fun coloring activity!
#3. Easter Egg Color Burst Science Experiment
Try this super awesome way to dye eggs…and also add in some science too with this activity and worksheet!
Snack
Today’s snack is a little “nest” (made from your favorite no=bake cookie recipe) and some chocolate Robin eggs! For our nests, I just melted some peanut butter and honey in the microwave (I don’t measure, but I would guess about 1 cup of peanut butter and maybe 2-3 TBSP of honey). I melt it until it’s creamy and can easily be mixed together. Then I added some quick oats…enough so that it isn’t really sticky, but not so much that it is still moldable too. I formed this into little nests (as pictured below) and then added some Robin eggs!
Books
(Note: Everyone has different book standards! I highly suggest skimming through any books before reading them to your kids, just to make sure it aligns with your family values first) 🩷
Today we’ll be reading, “The Easter Egg” by Jan Brett, “The Easter Egg Farm” by Mary Jane Auch, and “The Very Hungry Caterpillar’s Easter Egg Hunt” by Eric Carle.
However, if you were unable to grab these books from the library or store, here are the read aloud options on YouTube!
