“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always hopes, always trusts, always perseveres…” 1st Corinthians 13:4-8
Today is about how love always perseveres and never gives up!
Are you new to Valentine School 2024? No worries! You can learn more about it here and join our Valentine School FB group as well🙂 If you need to print out the Valentine School Calendar, scroll to the bottom of this post and pop your email in so I can send it to you!

Day #13. Love Never Gives Up Day!
Here is some of what we have planned for today! 🙂 If you purchased the Valentine School bundle, there are discussion questions included for each day. I recommend reading those beforehand or while you’re waiting on an experiment or doing an art activity!
Activities
IMPORTANT NOTE: These printable activities will be FREE for you to download, but only until Love Never Gives Up Day is over! So, make sure to download them even if you are going to do Love Never Gives Up Day later in the week – that way you can still snag them for free. If you could leave a review behind afterwards, that would be amazing too! THANK YOU!! 🥰❤️
#1. Floating Valentine Hearts Science Experiment
Grab this worksheet, some dry erase markers, and a plate for this experiment! Do your kids think the hearts will survive the force of the water when it’s added? When the hearts hold their shape and begin to float, you can use it as a visual demonstration on how love never gives up, but holds on and perseveres through hard times too.
#2. Never Give Up Coloring Page
Color or paint this coloring page and have your students hang it up on the wall as a reminder to never give up!
#3. Discuss & Set Some Goals
Breaking down a goal into smaller steps can better help us persevere and not give up when it starts to feel hard! Use this worksheet to set a goal and then break it down into smaller steps.
Snack
Today’s snack is simple and easy! Just cut a piece of toast into a heart and add jelly on it!
Books
(Note: Everyone has different book standards! I highly suggest skimming through any books before reading them to your kids, just to make sure it aligns with your family values first) 🩷
Today we’ll be reading, “The Most Magnificent Thing” by Ashley Spires, “Perseverance Makes Me Stronger” by Elizabeth Cole, and “I Choose to Try Again” by Elizabeth Estrada.
However, if you were unable to grab these books from the library or store, here are the read aloud options on YouTube!
Do You Have Extra Time? Here Are Some Ideas/Videos!
