It’s time for part three of my “All About Me” series!
If your students love using playdoh, I think they’ll enjoy this activity 🙂 I know my kids certainly did!
In case you missed the first two blog posts, I’m starting off our homeschool preschool co-op with an “All About Me” Unit Study. This is something we usually also do at home during the beginning of the school year. It’s so important to me that my kids learn to love and celebrate everything that makes them unique and special.
Plus, some of these craft ideas create the perfect mementos to look back at when the kids are older! My kids love reading through their old “All About Me” pages. Talk about special keepsake items!
Do you need some more ideas for your All About Me lesson plans? Check out these posts too!
All About Me Part 1 (Mini Book Craft)
All About Me Part 2 (Self-Portrait Face Template)
Want my All About Me mini book craft? You can find it here at my TPT shop 🙂 And if you’d like to snag my free self-portrait printable, keep scrolling to the bottom of this page and find the “download now” button.
“My Body” Playdoh Sheets
Laminated playdoh sheets are one of my favorite preschool resources! In fact, one of the first products I made for my little TPT shop was ABC playdoh sheets. You can grab those here (did I mention they are free?!).
With these “All About Me” playdoh sheets, they can create a playdoh version of themselves and also design an outfit.
Even my ten and seven-year old jumped in and did this with us while I was prepping these sheets for class 🙂
Of course, you can create these without a playdoh sheet. But I’ve found that it does help and make it fun to have a starting point and a structured outline for the kids.
Of course, it’s literally impossible to make enough skin tone options to accurately represent all the beautiful people in our world! That being said, there are at least 9 options included in this PDF so that students can choose the sheet that best suits them 🙂
Could you use these in your lesson plans? You can find this printable over at my TPT shop too!
