Today is the first day of our mini-Holy Week theme!
Are you new to these monthly themes? No worries! You can join our FB group and print out the March School Calendar to get started! Just scroll to the bottom of this post and pop your email in so I can send it to you!
Keep reading below for Palm Branch Day activities and printables!
Day #11. Palm Branch Day!
Here is some of what we have planned for today! 🙂 Did you want to download and print out everything for this week all at once? You can! Grab the Holy Week Activity Pack here!
This pack comes with extra printables (Holy Week Journal, Cards, & Read & Color Bible Reading Plan) and are great for saving time by downloading and printing everything all at once…plus these themes will be organized, especially if you’d like to use any of this again for next year! 🩷
Activities
IMPORTANT NOTE: These printable activities will be FREE for you to download, but only during Palm Branch Day! So, make sure to download them even if you are going to do Palm Branch Day later in the week – that way you can still snag them for free. If you could leave a review behind afterwards, that would be amazing too! THANK YOU!! 🥰❤️
#1. Palm Branch Handprint Easter Keepsake
Grab this printable and print out on cardstock. Trace your students’ hands and paint OR paint their hands and stamp them on the paper.
#2. Create a Palm Branch Craft
Print this printable out on cardstock (if painting). Have your students paint and cut out their choice of a palm branch. They can glue or tape it to a popsicle stick (the larger ones work best). You can also just print this out on regular paper and color with crayons or markers.
#3. Hosanna Art + Writing Printable
Here is another printable option! You can choose the basic palm branch design and let your students paint or color. Or they can use the other option with the simple writing activity.
Snack
For today’s snack, use green grapes and small pretzel sticks to create palm branches!
Suggested Reading
Instead of books, I’ll be suggesting a scripture passage to read together.
Today’s suggested reading is Matthew 21:1-11.
