#4. Label a Praying Mantis Worksheet

#5. Watercolor Praying Mantis Art Project
PrintĀ this PDFĀ out on cardstock and have your student trace the lines with a black crayon. Once they are done, they can paint the inside with watercolor paint. Let it dry before cutting it out and hanging it up!

#7. Themed Snack Idea
Before you read the book below, make this praying mantis-themed snack for your kids to have while they read or listen to the book!
To make these, youāll just need celery sticks, mini cucumbers, and raisins for the eyes. You’ll turn over the celery stick and use a slice of cucumber for the head. Cut a slice of cucumber in half and then set against each other to form the legs. Finish by using raisins for the eyes.
