It’s Veterans Day!
I’ve been so busy wrapping up my Christmas School bundles, that I almost forgot to share some of our Veterans Day activities!
Here are a few things that we plan to watch and do today! I hope this is helpful if you need any last-minute ideas!

#1. What is Veterans Day?
Watch this cute, short video from KID HISTORY to learn a little about why we celebrate Veterans Day!
#2. Draw a Soldier for Veterans Day!

#3. Write a Thank You Card for a Veteran
Grab these thank you cards here (free for Veterans Day!) and color/fill them in. You can give them to someone you know or keep them on hand for a veteran you meet!
#4. Veterans Day Art Project
Pick and print a page from this free PDF (drop your email at the bottom of this blog post to have it sent to you!) on cardstock to get started!
Older students can use the lighter version and trace the lines with a black crayon. They will then use watercolor paint to finish the page. The wax from the crayon will keep the paint colors in place.
Younger students can use the darker version to color or pain
